UK Manufacturing

Our range of textile patient lifting slings and moving and transfer products have been designed and manufactured in house and on site in Washington, Tyne and Wear since 2002.

Drawing on the experience of moving and handling specialists and healthcare professionals, our market leading products are designed with the end user firmly in mind. We always source the best raw materials using UK companies, if possible locally, supporting the local supply chain. We take pride in the high quality production values and attention to detail maintained during all stages of the production process.

In addition, because we manufacture our own range we have greater control over turnaround times and many items are available from stock.

We also manufacture products for and on behalf of other healthcare organisations to their own specification, colour and own branding. If you have a range of products you would like us to manufacture we would be happy to discuss your requirements.

Easyglide

Low Friction Boards

In this video we look at a way to fit a sling on a bed using Care-ability's Easyglide system. The Easyglide offers a low friction surface to allow the sling to be fitted with minimal resistance. This can be helpful in situations where the client has very little movement or is particularly heavy, where the bed surface has high resistance or if the client has very brittle thin skin which is at risk of shearing.
